Charles A. Schneider

Charles A. Schneider has been practicing law in Washington, D.C., for more than 37 years, specializing in consumer and product liability class actions. Mr. Schneider began his career with the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1974. Subsequently he has held positions as Assistant General Counsel at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, as an associate with two major national law firms, as Senior Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, and as a partner with a small law firm in Washington, D.C. In 1994, he began his practice as a sole practitioner specializing in general litigation, business law, and class actions. In 2002 he joined the newly-formed law firm, Mason LLP, as a partner.
Upon retiring from Mason LLP in 2007, Mr. Schneider and his wife, Marty, sailed aboard their 43-foot sailboat to the Bahamas where they spent several winters cruising and scuba diving. In 2009, the Schneiders formed their own litigation and class action law firm. They both joined Whitfield Bryson & Mason in July 2012 as of counsel.
Mr. Schneider is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Memphis School of Law. He served as an officer in the United States Navy in Vietnam and Memphis, Tennessee.
